These terms apply to all orders placed with Brixham Knife Co ("we", "us", "our") through brixhamknifeco.com. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Brixham Knife Co is operated by Brixham Knife Company LTD, based in Brixham, Devon, England.
All knife purchases require age verification (18+) at checkout, in line with UK law under the Crime and Policing Act 2026. We use a third-party identity verification service to confirm your age, involving a photo ID document and a live photo match. Orders are also subject to an age check on delivery, and a signature is required. We reserve the right to decline any order where age cannot be verified.
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to decline or cancel an order if a genuine pricing or listing error has occurred, in which case you'll be offered a full refund. Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance — we'll confirm by email once your order is accepted.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of order. We do not store your card details ourselves.
Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days. Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a legal right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, without needing a reason. Beyond this legal minimum, we also offer a 30-day return window as standard (see our Shipping & Returns page for full details) — whichever is more generous to you applies. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty or not as described.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us as soon as possible. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything in these terms.
We source and curate rather than manufacture the knives we sell. We describe each piece as accurately as we can, but natural materials (wood grain, Damascus patterning) mean no two pieces are perfectly identical, and slight variation from photos should be expected.
Our knives are sharp tools intended for careful, responsible use. We're not liable for injury or damage arising from misuse, improper storage, or failure to follow reasonable care instructions. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Gift cards do not expire and are non-refundable once purchased, but can be used against any order. Redemption codes are single-use.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
